More About Rachel
Rachel Stahl is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, passionate about nutrition, health and happiness. She specializes in medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as prediabetes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and gastrointestinal disorders. Rachel individualizes each client's plan to create sustainable, long-term lifestyle change. A recognized nutrition expert, Rachel has been a speaker at national conferences and is featured in several print and online resources including US News, Runner's World, Prevention, and Weight Watchers. She is also the co-author of an article on diabetes health apps in the peer-reviewed journal, Diabetes Spectrum.
Rachel is also passionate about serving the nutrition professional community. Rachel has served as President of the Greater New York Dietetic Association (GNYDA) and is currently the Public Relations Coordinator for the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NYSAND). Rachel is a proud recipient of the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award through NYSAND and the Samuel Eshborn Award from New York University for outstanding leadership and service.
Rachel earned her Bachelors of Arts from Colgate University graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, received her Master's of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and completed her Dietetic Internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is presently a Senior Clinical Dietitian at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, mastering a new recipe, listening to an engaging podcast, and biking.
